In the wake of all the news involving banking practices, we thought we would try another bank who claimed to be a little better. Bank of America has a reputation of putting your checks thru just before posting your direct deposit. Other bank have been pulling thus stunt for a long time. Fees, fees, fees, and more fees. The banks are making more money off of fees than they are interest.

We thought we would try Stockyards bank in Lousville. It wasn't even one week before we had trouble with this bank. They odered checks for us & said they would deduct it from our deposit. The did not wait for our Friday deposit & deducted money for the checks and charged us a overdraft fee of $33. You have to be kidding me? They screwed up & stuck us with a bill. Not only that, some witch at the bank called us at home and at work threatening us that if this overdraft thing continued in the future she would arrange it so we would net be able to open another bank account anywhere.

One other time we did overdraw our account by $50. They quickly stuck us with a $33 fee. What I was unaware of, was that they also slide in a $5 a day fee as well. I do not think loan sharks pull this one off anymore. Some woman nammed Debbie called me at work, after being told the number is for emergencies only. So, the fees are not enough, they want to harass you too.

We are seeking a lawyer to seek options on dealing with crooks like these. My advice is to stay away from this bank unless you want all the nightmare stories you heard about on tv.
