Cha Cha Cha Check into Cash.
You've seen the commercial. These places are everywhere you don't want to be. Its not that you can help being in this position, but you are & your desperate. They are in bad neighborhoods & around military bases where they can prosper because people are just trying to survive from paycheck to paycheck. Thats where these place make their moeny - on desperate people.

Now its true every once in awhile you get caught with your pants down & have a unexpected car repair, or something similar you just don't have the cash for. I ran into this a few times in Florida, and even though it cost me $35 to do it, I paid them back in a timely fashion.

One time I ran into trouble and needed some money. I went to the Check into Cash in Muldraugh, Kentucky - a little place, you guessed it, near a military base known as Fort Knox. I had to provide bank statements, I had to provide a utility bill, some paystubs, a driver's license, blood type, etc. and agree to give my first born if I should happen to be late. Add to this some personal references, including family memebers.

The way this works is you go ahead & give them a check for the full amount you borrow, plus their fee. They agreen to hold this for a couple of weeks until your next paypay. This is the way most of them work, not just this one outfit. Two weeks pass & I get paid. I figured they place my check in the bank on that Friday, because that was the agreement.

Come Monday night I start getting calls from upset family members that this place is trying to get ahold of me. Now, if I had done something wrong I could understand them trying to hunt me down to get their money, but this was not the case.

My family is upset & I'm boiling to the point I want to do physical harm. I looked at my bank account online & the check was processed the same day they were calling everyone I had placed as a reference. At the time of filling that out I did not care, because I knew they would not call unless I did not pay & I had no reason to worry about it. I was so angry at these people. They cash the check & harass everybody on the same day! I gave them a earful, for what that is worth. Not only because of the embarasement, but now everybody knew my business that didn't need to. They didn't need to know & they didn't deserve to be harassed.

These people are scum. Do not use them for any reason unless you want family & friends to know your business. I've done business with places like this before, but it always went smooth. These people are scum. If you want to do business with them, make it your business to put them out of business. Even if its something like this review, spread the word. Like the credit card companies in this country sucking the life out of you with rediculous interest rates, these people need to go bankrupt. No Bail-out should have been made to them, and no business should be made with these people.

Bail-out? I say give me a bucket to fill the boat & lets send this ship to the bottom.
