Let me be tell you that these speakers sound great with any home theater setup.
Each unit has 2 speakers that swivel that the center to direct sound in different locations. The clarity of these speakers while watching a movie is outstanding. They are extremely small and can set on any shelf, be mounted on the wall, or just sort of simply hidden out of site.
Let me be honest about something though, when it comes to music these things are hollow sounding & really pathetic. When I first hooked these up & tuned into a fm station I thought I was listening to something on AM radio. I was extremely disappointed about a brand that brags about how well they sound. When I added my subwoofer to the mix they sounded a little better, but without a subwoofer I would not have these speakers at all.
Watching a movie with these is a different story. The sound popps out as if someone is actually in the room with you. The movies come alive. Without the woofer they seem to have absolutely no bass, but with it these speakers are as good as any in a home theater arrangement.
The question becomes - what are you going to use these speakers for the most? Movies, or music? If it is music, then move on to something else. If it is movies, this is a good choice. Remember - a subwoofer is the key to these speakers.
