| SECTION 1 |
Applebees - Frankfort, Ky Realizing that all places of business are only as good as the management and employees, I will say that for the most part the Applebee's in Frankfort is a very good place to eat. Sometimes they have messed up on the take-out . Unlike some places, they have always ask if we want the change back or will just bring it back. I love the outside eating area but seems they put it on the wrong side, right in the afternoon sun. Oh well. I can recommend the Orential Salad, Orange Chicken, Salmon, and the Spinach-Artichok Dip/Chips are very good and are my favorite. It may be alittle more expensive considering what you get but nice that they cut the portion and price down on some of the meals for all of us that don't want or need the larger size. I have had some irritating times at the one in Lexington on Harrodsburg Rd at Beaumont Center. The food not being prepared as well as it should be and the take-out is seldom right plus at the take out you are seldom offered your change back. I just feel they should offer instead of just keeping the change. I will say that the manager made good on the poor service at this one. Also I don't understand why it is so hard for any eating establishment to put something to eat with and napkins in a take-out order. If I have a choice I will go to the Applebee's in Frankfort but will probably still stop at the Harrodsburg Rd one when in Lexington. I usually give a place another chance until it happens about three times and then I stay away for about a year, then try again hoping things change. Sometimes it is better and sometimes worse. Just a chance.
