Mabel's Candy

5 cups white sugar
1 large can mild
1/2 lb. butter or margarine
1 jar marshmellow cream
2 sm or 1 lg chocolate chips
  pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nuts 

Mix sugar, milk, salt and butter. Cook until mixture comes to rolling boil. Cook 8 min. Pour over marshmellow cream & chocolate chips. Mix well. Add vanilla & nuts. Pour into greased pan. Let cool. Leave in pan but cut into squares. Refrigerate until able to remove the squares from pan. Always keep refrigerated.
