Italian Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe

3 green peppers (cut in half)
1/3 cup green onion slices
1 garlic (clove, minced)
1 tbsp. margarine
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 cups hot cooked rice
3/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1 1/2 cups (6 0z) mozzarella cheese

Remove seeds from peppers. Parboil 5 min. Drain. Saute onion and garlic in margarine. Stir in tomato sauce, rice, 1 cup cheese and the oregano. Spoon into peppers, place in 12x8 inch baking dish.

Bake at 350 for 20 min. Top with remaining cheese, continue baking until cheese is melted.
