Beat 2 eggs and 1 1/2 cup sugar, add pinch of salt, 2 cups flour, 2 tsp. soda and mix well. 
Add 1 - # 303 can fruit cocktail and juice to the mix.  Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup pecans over bottom of oblong pan.   Bake 40 - 45 min. at 325 degrees. 
 
Topping
 
1 sm. can condensed can milk
1/4 tbs. butter
3/4 cup sugar
Boil to-gether 5 min.  Add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 cup coconut.   Pour Hot icing over Hot Cake.
