SECTION 1

Eight Hour Salad

1 head lettuce  (tear into bite size pieces)
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced green pepper
1 thin sliced purple onion (1 layer)
10 oz.  pkg. frozen peas (cooked, drained, cooled)
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 pint Mayo
1 tbs. sugar
2 cups mild cheddar cheese
13 slices crisp bacon (crumbled)
 

Layer all ingredients in order given and DO NOT STIR. Make ahead 8 hours or over-night.

I do not use the onion nor do I use the bacon and it is still good. I sometimes use about 1/2 cup more shredded cheese.
