SECTION 1

Cabbage Chowder

3 tbs. melted butter
2 1/2 cups chopped cabbage
1 large potato finely chopped
1 1/2 cup water
1 chicken bouillon
2 cups milk
Salt & Pepper
1 cup shredded swiss cheese

Combine butter, cabbage & potato with 1/2 cup water in 3 qt. sauce pan. Cover & cook over low heat for 25 min. Mash pot. slightly. Add remaining water, bouillon & milk. Simmer 15 more min. Add cheese, salt & pepper. Cook until cheese melts.
